What a wedding! I was lucky enough to do the hair of my GLAMOUR bride, Rowena who is also a dear friend of mine. Her wedding with John has been one of my absolute favourites! I know how much time the couple spent on the details of the wedding and maybe that’s why I appreciate everything about it so much. Rowena spent time on all the little details of the wedding and as much as people say ‘oh but no one notices’ – you definitely notice when someone has spent that time and energy making sure every little thing was perfect.
I connected with Rowena so much because we went through wedding planning together. We spent months complaining about wedding planning to each other and I felt she was one of the only people who actually understood. From watching wedding videos at work to umming and uhhing about what flowers to put in our centrepieces.
The day was perfect (even on one of the hottest days recorded in Sydney). Rowena looked nothing short of amazing in her beautiful Leah da Gloria gown and flawless make up by Yen Hoang.
Photos were beautifully captured by We are Origami (as usual, AMAZING work guys) and can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous the flowers were by Clementine Posy?!
Ok so onto the hair – we styled the gorgeous bride, Rowena’s hair with simple and elegant soft waves. It went perfectly with her detailed Leah da Gloria gown and we worked a miracle to get the curls through the day in 45 degree heat! Her bridal party had different hair lengths and we did a soft and textured bun for the bridesmaids and a voluminous ponytail for the Maid of Honour (all dressed in Rodeo Show).
Can’t get over how beautiful everything is about this wedding! So happy to have been part of it.
